Trevor Honigman founded Beacon Studios in 2002 as a multi-media production company serving the video and creative needs of local and regional companies. What began as a small business has grown to be recognized as a high-quality provider of multi-media tools by a number of national and international industry-leading companies and organizations.
Possessing a combination of technical knowledge, marketing savvy, and the driving desire to help others, Trevor excels at helping the Beacon Studios team develop unique projects which effectively produce the desired results for clients.
John Banovich, csc, BFM, is an international award winning Director, Cinematographer and Writer, having received numerous Telly, Aurora, Summit and Gallant awards for his directing of various Documentaries and TV Commercials as well as several for his cinematography in HD, 35mm and 16mm.
With over thirteen years of experience working as an actor, director, cinematographer, and writer, John has a true passion for his craft, which can easily be seen in his work. He has a very strong dramatic execution in his feature film, TV series and commercial materials.
Thomas Bowerbank is the pointy end of the Beacon production team’s stick. Thomas brings efficiency, technical know-how, and a keen eye to shooting each production.
A poster-child CATO graduate, his enthusiasm and fresh perspective keeps Beacon Studios Inc. on the leading edge of contemporary video. An award-winning director and cinematographer, Thomas has shot everything from corporate and marketing videos to documentaries and independent films.
Most comfortable out in the field, Thomas is always looking for the best way to make each shot count, and to add production value to everything he’s responsible for.
Humour is widely recognized as an essential survival trait for post-production editors, and since we keep Josh Pord shackled to the editing suite most of the time, his fine sense of wit has been forced to flourish.
Despite this, Josh continues to bring it all together when it counts the most; creatively and seamlessly editing video footage, graphics, animation and audio together.
When the project needs great visuals,
he's the man to make it happen.
Linda executes all duties related to Administration and currently, serves as Production Assistant to all phases of production. Her management skills provide a firm administrative foundation for this dynamic company. She brings over 25 years experience in project co-ordination and marketing to the Beacon Team from positions with Southam and Seacoast Communications.
As wife, to her husband Mike, and mother to her three daughters, Linda experiences adventure and joy every day.
